Burke, who saddled Holloway Boy to claim this prize 12 months back, stated of his newest victor: "He's always worked nicely and William said after a furlong he understood he was on a really great horse.


"He's a beautiful horse with a fantastic mind, however I was a bit anxious whether I was doing the best thing dropping him in this grade on his third run. He ran quite green at Thirsk last time.


"He had actually an implemented break quickly after he came to us and all he did last winter season was enhance physically, he's done the exact same this summertime once we have actually got him going and I believe he'll improve once again from three to four with another winter on his back."

Considering future strategies, the Spigot Lodge handler included: "He's won a Group Three now so he can't reverse from that, but I do not really want to throw him in too deep yet.


"I'll take a look and see what's offered, but I know there's not a lot offered over a mile.


"I certainly wouldn't think we'll travel him (abroad) this winter season, but I'll need to have a chat with Sheikh Mohammed Obaid (owner) and see where we go."
